Senior Lecturer at international Film Schools

I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority.

From its inception in 2008, I was Head of Production, Lecturer in Production Business of Media at The Red Sea Institute of Cinematic Art in Jordan. I was hired by the former Dean of the American Film Institute, and the Dean of the University of Southern California Film School (the only European lecturer).

In 2010 The Hollywood Reporter named RSICA as "one of the World's Top Ten Film Schools outside of the USA".

My MBA students take on leading production roles & produce projects filmed in the region,

From 2016 to 2024 I was Senior Lecturer Producing at the Film & TV School Wales, University of South Wales, Cardiff.

Film & TV Software Training

I was an early adopter of Movie Magic software, after working for Full Moon Productions (Los Angeles) in Romania in 1993. Subsequently I used their software on the productions I ran in both film and television.

Since 2003 I have provided training in Movie Magic Scheduling & Budgeting to major British Film & TV companies, freelance Assistant Directors, Production Managers, Line Producers, Production Accountants and Heads of Production.

The organisations for whom I have trained for include. BECTU London, CULT Cymru, Working Title, Netflix, Amazon, MBC, Fulwell 73,, The AD Guild, and numerous training schemes,. I have trained in film schools like International Film School Wales and NFTS Short Course Unit, Beaconsfield.

I train Movie Magic Budgeting X, am planning courses in the newly released Movie Magic Scheduling X.

I also run courses in Final Draft 13 for Writers, Script Departments and Production Departments. A recent client was BBC Scotland's Children's Department, and Channel 4 training schemes and Irish training organisations.

I have over twenty five years of experience as an Assistant Director, Production Manager and Line Producer for feature films & TV dramas, on four continents. I have experience with significant SFX, stunt and hazardous shooting.

I am NEBOSH qualified in Health and Safety. (an all industries certification in the UK).

I conduct Health & Safety Vetting and Monitoring of Companies and Productions for Training Providers and Universities.

I was the Prevent Link for Faculty of Creative Industries at The University of South Wales.
